Road Repaving Update: Why Santa Catalina Estates Missed the Cut
Residents of Santa Catalina Estates will be disappointed to learn that road repaving will not occur this year.
According to Rex Scott, our District 1 representative, the roads in our HOA have a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ranging from 32 to 52. Pima County has allocated $14 million for the resurfacing of roads that have a PCI index score between 5 and 20. His office cited rising costs and ongoing maintenance requirements for the small number of roads being resurfaced this year.
In light of these developments, our Roads Committee remains committed to advocating for the community's needs and will continue its dialogue with Rex Scott’s office.
The committee also welcomes new members who are interested in contributing to these important discussions. Please email contactSCEHOA@gmail.com for more information
