Key Points of the Shed Policy:

  1. Shed Variety: Metal, vinyl, and wood/composite sheds are all allowed. Any other exterior building materials not listed here must be approved by the Architectural Committee.

  2. Consistent Style and Color Scheme: The style of the shed should be consistent with the architectural style of your home. Moreover, the color scheme of the shed should blend with the desert environment. Please avoid using white or any other color that contrasts with the desert landscape.

  3. Setback Guidelines: Sheds must comply with the setback guidelines outlined in our CCR's. Ideally, they should be located behind the house where they are not prominently visible.

  4. Foundation Requirement: All sheds must be placed on a foundational pad. Sheds positioned directly on dirt are considered temporary and are not allowed within our community.

  5. Maintenance Responsibility: Homeowners are required to maintain their sheds in good repair, ensuring they remain aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound.

  6. Compliance with County Guidelines: It is essential that all sheds comply with the guidelines set forth by Pima County. Appropriate permitting should be obtained wherever required.
