The Dumpsters have arrived!

It's time for community cleanup! We're excited to offer dumpsters for SCEHOA Dumpster Days from February 6-9, but we need your help to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please read the guidelines below to help us keep the process efficient and safe.

Key Guidelines for Dumpster Use:

  • Do Not Overfill: Please make sure that all materials fit inside the container. Items should not stick out or exceed the top. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported. If you find that one dumpster is full, please visit another location. For your convenience, a list of dumpster locations is provided below.

    • Dumpster Locations:

      • 6726 N Calle Padre Felipe

      • 6730 N Camino Padre Isidoro

      • Camino Michael and Skyway

      • 6700 N Camino Abbey

  • Felipe and Isidoro Locations Are Less Used: If you’re having trouble finding space, the dumpsters at 6726 N Calle Padre Felipe and 6730 N Camino Padre Isidoro are typically less crowded. Try those first!

  • Heavy Materials: Dirt, rock, concrete, brick, and asphalt should not exceed 16 inches from the bottom of the container.

Why It Matters:

By law, all loads must be tarped during transport. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely moved, and it may require a board member to fix the issue, which is both dangerous and avoidable! Please help us keep things safe and easy for everyone.

What Cannot Be Put in the Containers:

To ensure safety and comply with regulations, the following items are prohibited:

  • Explosives, ammunition, or firearms

  • Railroad ties

  • Propane tanks or any pressurized containers

  • Hazardous waste (pesticides, mercury-containing equipment, PCBs, or radioactive materials)

  • Universal waste (batteries, pesticides, mercury equipment)

  • Bulk liquids, raw septage, or waste oil

  • Refrigerators or units containing refrigerants

  • Whole tires or lead-acid batteries

  • Intact automobiles or large vehicle parts

  • Human or animal waste

  • Heavy construction debris (dirt, concrete, asphalt beyond 16 inches)

  • Any waste prohibited by federal, state, or city policies

For a full list of prohibited items, please refer to the signage posted at the dumpster sites.
