Are you planning to make changes to your property? Before you begin any construction, remodeling, or alterations, it's crucial to submit an Architectural Request Form. This process ensures that all modifications align with our CC&R’s. 

What Requires an ARC Request?

Our CCRs outline specific requirements for architectural approval:

Section 2.202: "Before beginning the construction of, or remodeling or reconstructing or altering any major building (residence, garage, guest house or servants' quarters) or swimming pool on any lot, the person or persons desiring to erect or construct or modify will submit to The Architect two complete sets of plans and specifications, including exterior color schemes."

Section 2.209 extends this requirement to include "any fence, wall, coping, driveway or private road, or any structure."

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Major buildings: Residences, Garages, Guest houses)

  • Other Structures: Shed, Carport, Pergola, Gazebo etc

  • Swimming pools

  • Fences and walls

  • Driveways and private roads

  • Landscaping modifications that remove healthy native plants

  • Solar panel installations

Preservation of Native Growth

"Except for such native growth as it may be necessary to remove for the construction and maintenance of roads, driveways, dwelling houses and other permitted structures, no native growth, including palo verde trees, may be destroyed or removed."

Review Process and Turnaround Time

Most ARC requests are typically processed within a few days. Complex projects may require the advice of our Architect and take up to 15 days for review. We aim to approve all requests as quickly as possible while ensuring thorough evaluation by our Architect Committee.
